All seven classes in Shadowverse: Worlds Beyond
Compare each craft by the resource it tracks, the board states it creates, and the kind of decisions it asks you to make.
Fast class picker
Start with Swordcraft if you want the clearest route into combat fundamentals. Choose Dragoncraft if big late turns excite you, Runecraft for sequencing puzzles, Havencraft for reactive control, Forestcraft for combo turns, Abysscraft for graveyard-style resource play, or Portalcraft for generated-card planning.
Editorial note: “easy” changes with the deck and patch. The labels below describe cognitive workload, not current win rate.

A better way to test a class
- Play enough turns to see the class’s named mechanic at least twice.
- Note what resource you forgot to count.
- Ask whether the class rewards the kind of planning you enjoy.
- Only then compare popular deck lists and collection cost.
A class can feel weak when the real problem is an unfamiliar resource loop. Test the identity before judging the result screen.
Cygames’ official Deck Creation page supplies every class identity and named mechanic. “Good fit,” workload, and beginner recommendations beyond the official Swordcraft note are editorial synthesis.
